			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So great, I&#8217;m just another twentysomething girl with a blog. I&#8217;m not going to even claim that THIS blog will be different, this one will capture your interest. nope. this one will probably be like most other blogs you&#8217;ve stumbled upon.  I will try to not to bore you with random things &#8211; but rather a blog of where my life is right now, where I am headed, and how the hell I plan on getting there.</p>
<p>so &#8211; the big thing that is a part of my life right now is two fold. I met my wonderful boyfriend in May 2008. After nearly a year and a half I realized how happy I am to be with him, and be doing this life thing together. what I did not realize was that I gained nearly 40 lbs. 40!!! I&#8217;m only 5 foot 2 inches. I wanted to scream at everyone who knew me &#8211; why didn&#8217;t you say I was slowly turning into an ompa lumpa?  - but thing thing about that it is; it&#8217;s no one&#8217;s job to tell me that. Its my job to take my weight and health seriously. And that is what I did.</p>
<p>Over the next 6 months I lost 30 lbs of fat, and gained about 10 lbs of muscle. I did it with the help of a Master Trainer at 24 Hour Fitness, and the Bodybugg. I love the program, I love my trainer, I love the gym now&#8230;not something I could say six months ago. But &#8211; you knew there was going to be a but. And the but is&#8230;I still have a butt. After losing all that weight I&#8217;m still the same pant size. And that IS OK. but what was no longer ok with me was how much time and effort I was devoting to this gym/weight loss thing.</p>
<p>so remember how I said this would be about Where I am, Where I want to be, and How the hell I&#8217;m going to get there&#8230;</p>
<p>I am Here: 25 years old. 165 lbs. no money (the trainer and gym have it all). no time to spend with family and friends (gym took most of that too)</p>
<p>Here is where I want to be: 26 years old. 120-140 lbs. Time and money to spend with the people who love me. this fitness schtick needs to work WITH my life &#8211; not hijack it.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s the Plan: the Trainer is fired. waking up at 5am to get to the gym will only be for days I know I can&#8217;t get there after work. In nice weather taking a walk at lunch. I know how and when to eat. I&#8217;m keeping up on weight lifting with routines I already know &#8211; as well as a training plan from Women&#8217;s Health Magazine (.com version).</p>
